Today I cycled over to Campbell Park for the Art in the Park Festival hosted by Milton Keynes Islamic Arts Heritage and Culture.
Tile making, calligraphy and geometry workshops were in full swing in the marquee while live Islamic tunes played on stage and whafts of healthy delicacies filled the air!

I took part in a geometry workshop 'Art of Design, Persian Illuminations (tazhib)' held by artist and art therapist, Mojgan Lisar. The process of tracing the Tazhib design and delicately filling in sections with watercolour was really relaxing. The only decision required was the choice of colour combination!
