March 2026
A blog exploring the facets of creativity through the mediums of visual art, craft and design.
This design was hand drawn, filled in with fineliner and then lasered onto the slate.
Somehow I kept a steady hand after a couple of glasses of mulled wine!

We started with sketching the design onto a paper template of the arched shaped glass. I then used special glass paint to draw the outline using a fine 'drawing' tool. Once I had finished the painting stage layers of frit glass powders were added onto the design of the sun and the tree elements.

The murals are now up in the Tecso's precinct, they really uplift the space and bring it to life.
Locals had a lovely celebration of the work going up last weekend alongside the opening of pop up cafe, Cafe Zero.
